Relevance for Banking, SSC & RBI Grade B exams: Art & Culture
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma recently visited the Narayani Shila Temple in Haridwar to offer prayers, highlighting its significance as a place of peace for him over the past 12 years. During the visit, he also commented on political matters, including a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his visits to the President and the Supreme Court. Sarma questioned Gandhi’s intentions, asking if he had performed any miracles like the Chandrayaan and Mangalyaan missions, and dismissed the ongoing Delhi protests as mere spectacles, emphasizing public support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
For aspirants preparing for Bank PO, IBPS, SBI, RBI Grade B, and SSC exams, this event underscores the interplay between political narratives and socio-cultural practices, a recurring theme in General Awareness sections. Questions may arise on the cultural importance of temples, regional political dynamics, or the role of public figures in shaping public opinion. Additionally, awareness of current political debates, such as protest movements or electoral trends, can be crucial for exams focusing on polity, governance, and current affairs.
