The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is an autonomous body set up to implement world class selection process. It provides its services to all Public Sector Banks, SBI, RBI, IDBI, NABARD, RRBs, SIDBI, Cooperative Banks, LIC, General Insurance companies etc.
IBPS PO 2021 Exam is conducted by, The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in three phases: Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview Process for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in the various Banking Institutions across the country.
A Probationary Officer handles overall banking management of a bank or a company associated with the banking sector. The Probationary Officer is the entry-level employee who after the completion of the probation or training period, promoted to the post of Assistant Managers of Scale 1 in the bank.
Prelims Sections: English, Mathematics and Reasoning.
Mains Section: Reasoning, Computer, English, Mathematics, General Awareness.
The final selection takes place on the basis of the cumulative score of Mains and Interview.
