What is CUET?

The National Testing Agency, NTA an independent, autonomous and self-sustained chief testing organization has been established by The Ministry of Education, Indian Government under the Societies Registration Act (1860).

This organization has been established to conduct efficient, transfer and international standards tests in order to analyze the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions

The NTA is responsible for conducting the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) for Post graduation (PG) programmes for 2022.

Central University Entrance Test (CUET) is introduced by NTA for admission into undergraduate(UG) Programs in all Central universities for academic sessions 2022-23 under the ministry of education.

This test is going to provide a common platform and equal options to the candidates across the nation, especially those from rural and other remote areas and help to initiate a better connection with the universities

By this single examination students will be able to expand their application range for admission to various central universities.

Prior to CUET, this exam to was known as CUCET, it was introduced in 2010 for admission to UG and Integrated Postgraduate and diploma/ certificate courses at seven central universities
