The National Task Force (NTF) on student mental health, set up by the Supreme Court and chaired by former apex-court judge Justice S. Ravindra Bhat, submitted findings describing student suicides as a systemic problem rooted in institutional, academic, social and economic pressures rather than individual mental-health failings alone. It recommended stronger counselling and support systems across schools, colleges and coaching centres. 2. DRDO’s indigenous Netra AEW&C system to get Final Operational Clearance on 25 June

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will grant Final Operational Clearance (FOC) to the indigenous Netra Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) System at a ceremony on 25 June 2026 at the Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS), Bengaluru. The mission systems are integrated on the Embraer EMB-145 platform.
