The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is a central bank of the country. RBI established on April 1, 1935 in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The Central Office of the Reserve Bank was initially established in Kolkata but was permanently moved to Mumbai in 1937. The Central Office of RBI and where the Governor sits and policies are formulated. Although originally privately owned, since nationalization in 1949, the Reserve Bank is fully owned by the Government of India.
RBI Assistant 2022 Notification:
RBI is going to release the notification to conduct the exam to fill the vacant posts of Assistant across the country. RBI has released a short notice on 14th February 2022 in employment news paper, but the official notification for RBI Assistant Exam 2022 probably will be released on 16th February 2022. Online Registration process will commence from 17th February and the portal will remain open till 8th March 2022. The online (Prelims) exam will be held on 26th & 27th March 2022.

Exam Pattern
- The RBI Assistant Exam 2022 is conducted in three phases:
- Prelims
- Mains
- Language Proficiency Test
- The Prelims Exam consists of three sections: Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, English Language.
- The Main exam consists of five sections: Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge.
- There is a provision of negative marking. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates should be Graduate.
- Minimum required age to apply is 20 years
- Upper age limit is 28 years for General, 3 years relaxation for OBC, 5 years relaxation for SC/ST
